About Us

Welcome to Sports History Today. I love reading about and talking about sports history and I suppose you do too, or else why would you be here?

I hope you’ll forgive me if I occasionally express an opinion that you disagree with. I think we can at least agree that it’s better to be controversial than boring.

I also apologize in advance if I have written anything that’s factually wrong. I try to carefully research my posts, but I’m only as good as my sources. Please let me know if you see any errors or omissions. (Yeah, go ahead and tell me about the typos, misspellings, and grammatical mistakes, if that’s what you’re into.)

Of course I encourage you to share your (civil) thoughts about this blog, either as comments on the posts or as private emails.

Thanks for reading Sports History Today.
